Why Did We Stay? (continued - page 3)

I knew 3-4 hours a nite wasn’t sufficient and that had barely been what he was getting. I simply felt that eventually the new parent thing would wear off, he would get more sleep, the sightings of strange things would cease and things would go back to normal for him. It just goes to show you how wishful thinking often takes over your logical thought process.
Then again, I feel there was some interest on my part, should his experiences be real, as to how a spirit could be physical, or get into someone’s mind. The scientific explorer in me prevailed as I sat back and let everything run its course, oblivious to the reality of what it was doing to my husband, our family and our relationship.
Had I known what he was seeing and experiencing and that they were very real, I hope that I would have taken that into consideration and changed my ideas about our situation. I can’t say that for sure; no one really can until they are in a certain situation.
The fact is that my curiosity grew to be Tony’s as well. Who exactly was this little spirit (and later the woman spirit), why did they choose our residency to make themselves known, what were they trying to convey to us, could we coexist, how was it that they could do they do the things they did, what other things could they manifest, and so many more questions that came into play.
