Tony's Experiences

On another occasion, he had fallen asleep on the couch face down. Debra covered him up with a blanket and went up stairs to take a shower. When she got out of the shower Tony was standing in the hallway to show her a bit mark (of which he felt when it happened – it woke him out of a sound sleep) on the back of his upper thigh.

Tony stood firm in his belief that what was in the house was not a child. Eventually, the antics of what everyone considered to be that of a little spirit took a turn. Tony began seeing the apparition of a woman. Blonde and in her mid 30’s or so, she would be seen passing him in the hallway or show up in the bedroom when he tried to sleep. The confirmation of this second spirit seemed to come when 2 separate anomalies where seen in the Christmas photos.

Still Tony refused to acknowledge what was in the house. He felt that in doing so it would open the door to more  activity and perhaps allow the demon, he felt was there , more free reign or acceptance.

On several occasions as Tony tried to sleep during the day (he was working the 3rd shift) he would be bothered by noises, being touched and the formation of what seemed to be smoky apparitions forming in the room. On more than one occasion he was locked in the room unable to open the door while dressers, drawers and the furniture spun and flew in the room.

One day as he watched the formation of a figure at the bottom of the bed, he called Debra at work. It eventually disappeared, but later came back to reach its hand out to him and say “I’m gonna….” The rest had been indiscernible.

The voice s in the walls and in the room had made it difficult if impossible to sleep and he became fearful of what would happen next if he did. The lack of sleep seemed to make him even more susceptible.

One day while napping on the couch, he at straight up, looked at Debra and in a strange commandeering way, told her, “He’s mine!”. Then he lay back down. At the time, she though maybe he was having a dream about his child and the he was claiming protection for it. Months later however, as she recalled his voice, she had doubts that it was him speaking and began wondering if it was a sort of possession thing that had happened.

Of course, acknowledging this theory seemed to changed everything.

Tony began feeling different when he was in the house vs when he was not. He was hateful to Debra, and had bad thoughts of doing significant harm to her. Her very presence in the room seemed to make him seethe with rage. He prayed to god for help with these thoughts because he knew they were not his own. One day he had even plotted her death and had waited for her to come home. Fortunately, he had been called to his mother’s house and in leaving the house the rage and thoughts had left him.

Although this was not something he shared with Debra, he desperately prayed for help in fighting these feelings and urges during the several  months prior to their actually moving from the house.
