Sightings Fifth Visit

The first day of this trip was with a small team of 3 television crew members and Peter James. A night vision camera followed them through the house as Peter conducted his investigation, enabling them to see what the unassisted eye could not. The house was empty and dark and their curiosity was to see if the presence of Sallie was still in the house.
While in the upstairs bedroom Peter felt a presence and asked for verification and identification. What they got was a moaning sound (to me it was not depictive of a child but of and adult). Then the crew felt and followed the temperature change in the room; a significant coldness that all members felt.
Peter was then led towards the nursery where the presence in the room gave him a burning sensation on the side of his face.
In trying to make the determine of whether the activity is a result of the Pickmans or the environment, Kerry Gaynor, on the second day of the investigation and with the house empty, found it a perfect opportunity to examine the house and the environment more independent of the family.
Additional monitoring equipment was brought in along with Maury Schrag. Maury is an Environmental Engineer with the Industrial Compliance and Safety Commission. He brings in some of his own equipment to search for magnetic anomalies, temperature shifts, abnormal radiation or radon levels, as well as carbon monoxide or other gas levels in the home and surrounding area. The house was checked from the basement to the second floor, however, nothing unusual was picked up.
Still many individuals, including the owner felt the strange drafts and had experiences of their own in the house. The owner went as far as saying that he had not believed in any of the experience that we had laid claim to until after we moved out and he began working in the house.
The next morning I and a former resident of the house, Kelly Elias, joined them. Kelly had contacted me and I knew the Sightings team would want to hear what she had to say.
She and her mother and brothers had lived in the house with their Grandmother when Kelly and her siblings were children. Kelly strolled thru the house with the crew in tow, remembering specific events. One memory was of walking past the nursery which was her brothers’ room at the time, and seeing a bright light out of the corner of her eye.
The light turned out to be a fire along the north wall of the nursery and around the lower right corner of the window. It was reported that there was not an outlet along the wall and no one owned up to it then or now. As much as they had tried they never did determine how it started.
While she stood in the nursery telling of her experience, we all felt a significant coldness. Kelly explained it as a breeze, very cool, significantly felt and very odd.
Peters final report noted that the spirit of two entities undeniably remained in the house and that the cleansing that was done did not remove them.
