Rick Wilson is the President of Digisonics, and a forensic audio specialists who has worked closely with the CIA and FBI and has often analyzed black boxes for the FAA.
He was able to quickly rule out that the sound could be mechanical electrical because above 500 hertz there was nothing to be heard except the constant background noise. What was being heard was all low frequency and something that in our own bodies could not be made. He assumed that the noise could have been magnetic, but had no idea how that would have been introduce.They then turned to Sarah Estep who had been in the field for 18 years and is currently well know for her work in the field of Electronic Voice Phenomena. She is often noted as being is the mother of EVP. She reported that is was unlike anything she had ever heard and further stated that it sounded like an energy sound perhaps from the other side.
They separately analyzed the audio clip and determine that the sound was not made. It was undeterminable was the sound was or how it was generated.
At other times during the all night vigil, the frequency counter at the top of the stairs, a place where Tony had felt and heard a lot of activity, a place where he had been scratched and burned, and where Peter James had been electrically shocked, jumped significantly from 399 570 Mhz.
In reviewing the tapes from earlier in the day, it was noted that there was some unknown interference with the same camera at the top of the stairs. The fact that the camera was on a closed circuit and no electrical interference could have cause this confounded the team even more.
Although there was no significant moments caught on the thermal imaging camera, there were notable differences picked up a few times. The yellowish areas picked up on bear skin (which should be seen as red) denotes a change in the heat properties in the close proximity of the individual. These, however were inconclusive as no physical activity corresponded to this period of time.
Also seen from the viewpoint of the same camera at this time, is a moving shadow of bright light in the master bedroom.
In the nursery that night the camera seemed to drift and/or loose signal entirely for a few moments, only to come back to its original clarity.
Kerry and much of the crew left very late that night, in fact I believe it was in the wee hours of the morning, and Tony retired to bed. I, on the other hand, was too curious and excited about what might be seen, or caught on film to go to sleep. After some 2 and 3am conversation, I and another member of the Sightings groups decided to set up an experiment.
We lightly sprinkled baby powder on the coffee table, then placed a few small items that might interest a small child. The four of us that stayed awake through the night, returned to the control center.
Throughout the night those who stayed awake and remained at the control center, were witness to the monitoring equipment detecting strange activity around the camera at the top of the stairs. Occasionally, one of us would decide to go and check it out. During one of these occasions, while we were up there in the hall way, the monitoring equipment seemed to show a delayed response to where we stood; as if an energy had moved from an area we had just stepped into, passing through or being acknowledged by the monitoring equipment. The reason for this was never found.
The next morning, Kerry returned to give his final thoughts. He had been at the house for approximately 14 hours, and noted 11 separate instances of scratches that seemingly occurred right before his eyes. He noted that the case was interesting but potentially very dangerous.
