Sightings Second Visit

We didn’t know how to feel the 2nd time that the Sightings crew came back. The person who had contacted me spoke of how they would like to bring in a different investigator and try to get to the bottom of what was happening. They claimed that they wanted to help us.
The fact was that the story had gained such interest and seemed so unreal, they were bringing in Tim White, the host of the show, to experience it himself . As much as we had watched the show, Tim had never taken part in any field investigations.
We felt as if we were being put under a microscope; that he was either extremely interested in the case or had set out to debunk us as frauds on national television. Of course the later was not possible and I had no fear. Tony on the other hand just knew that they would find some way to turn it all around on us make us look like frauds. He and I fought a lot about this. I simply stood firm on the fact that the show had never really shown debunked stories and why would they start now..
The second visit also brought an investigator by the name of Al Rauber. By the end of his visit, we were not sure that he was given the freedom to actually do investigation the way he would have like to make the assessment he was asked to make. He was not allowed to speak to us prior to meeting us, get any history on us, or know ahead of time what our experience had been. Al was simply allowed to visit with us and observe for a few hours and then asked to given his thoughts on the situation.
In the same breath I’m sure that Sightings was trying to keep him from obtaining information and making a pre-determination on the case before he was filmed by the crew. The show actually tried very hard to get first hand emotion and reaction in all that they filmed. The fact is that most investigators like to have as much information about a haunting and the circumstances before experiencing it. Without full knowledge they feel inadequately prepared.
Now this approach is ideal for psychics and there are some investigators that prefer to go into a location cold, experience what there is to experience and then dig up the history and make the connections.
