Joe's Lightbox

An individual, I will simply refer to as Joe at this point, contacted us back in the summer or fall of 2001 (I think but can’t be sure of the date). He asked if he could visit with us about the Sallie house and said he was going to be in town to investigate the house on his own. We had a very nice visit with him, as he was a very intelligent and gentle individual. His personality was very warm and caring and we immediately felt as ease with him.
Joe is a freelance ER nurse, world traveled, quite versed in different religions, beliefs, and meditations and seems quite educated. I’m not exactly sure what credentials he has to his credit, but that had never really been a factor for us. Save it to say that he spoke of many things, some of which went right over our heads.
He did visit the house after our visit and later called regarding his experiences. He also sent us a few interesting pictures (we hope to have his permission to put them on the site). We had since spoke a few times on the phone and continued to realize he was truly a man with an interesting take on our experiences. At the time, much of what he had said made a lot of sense.
A few years later he was making another trip to the house and asked if he cold drop by to visit with us. We had a great visit as he went into more detail about what he thought the energies in the house could be. He brought Tony a book entitled, and which was based on a true story, Conjuring up Philip, an adventure in Psychokinesis by Iris M. Owen with Margaret Sparrow. It examined the power of a collective set of minds. In short, a group of people got together and using a Ouija board, attempted to make contact with the other side. Eventually, the power that these individuals had collectively, made Edward seem real via the activity they witnessed around them. Furthermore, as they continued to request his presence, they continued to wish/think about different traits to add to his personality. In actuality, his whole personality was what they themselves discussed and chose before asking for his presence.
The book was an remarkable depiction of how our minds could lend to the possibility of spirit creation. The group of people, and their collective energies were actually able to conjure an individual with the qualities they desired and mold him into the spirit that he became
Now, although Joe never came right out said he thought Tony was capable of this, he obviously though that this book had merit in the case at hand.
When he visited us on August 22nd of 2003, we were in for another awakening. We discussed this book along with many other things. One of which was meditation and how it can be extremely helpful. Of course, with three very young children at the time it was difficult to say the least, for Tony or I to be successful at our meditation attempts.
