Bad Event
Report by: Debra Pickman
The following did not take place at the Sallie house. It took place in our own home and was so out of character with Tony’s normal disposition, that I felt it may need to be considered when looking at the larger picture and greater scheme of events surrounding this case. The following are the notes I took a few hours after the experience.
3-11-05
I came home work and shopping about 4:40pm wondering if Tony had come home yet. I Didn’t see him and began putting my purchases away. 10 minutes later I noticed him sort of laying on the couch w/camera in hand. I took the camera away and tried to wake him but couldn’t. Trying to shake him awake his legs rolled off and he almost fell off.
I put his legs back up and began taking pictures. I continued to try and get his attention and get him to tell me what was wrong. He seemed in a daze and barely spoke or acknowledged me. He laid back and seemed to drift in to a non-responsive state. I kept trying to wake him up and could not get a response for several minutes. His eyes seemed to be rolling into the back of his head.
I finally got him to sit up and was asking him to talk to me. I was getting frustrated because he was not telling me what he was feeling or sensing and what had happened before I got home. Not knowing what state he was in and being so unresponsive also had me worried because the kids were due home and minute.
I got a little more forceful. “Talk to me.” He angrily screamed at me “What!” I had been sitting on the coffee table in front of the couch in front of him, but quickly jumped up and off to the side because of the response and I didn’t know what to expect from him.
The next thing he did was angrily scream, “What” at me again, and balling up his fists in front of him. I quickly stepped back a few more steps and he angrily screamed “Aauugh” a few times at the top of his voice and then picked up the side of the coffee table and threw it at me. It had actually lifted off the ground and flipped over landing on it’s side.
Then he dropped to his knees and with fists balled up again screamed “AAaauugh! a few more times, and then, “What do you want from me!”, and then almost stood up before falling over sideways to the floor. From a safe distance I called his name to get some response because he seemed passed out.
