In July our group went to visit “The Union house” in Mo. In the kitchen I was setting up equipment when Jennifer asked what was new in regards to the tapes I review from the Sallie house.
When we first wanted to investigate the house we wondered if the ghosts still remained after hearing of many psychic’s that have visited and tried to convince them to move on. I honestly had no doubts that the things had happened when Tony and Deb lived there but we wondered if they were still there. Hadn’t it followed them? We had watched the old Sightings shows thinking they would again update but the show was canceled right after the family moved. What happened?
On our first visit we got one fairly good EVP upstairs in the nursery. My son placed a recorder in the room while we were setting up and talking about where we wanted to start, and place equipment. He captured a little girl that said “stay put”. I don’t even remember if we kept the other two captures as they were not very good for a “haunted house”.
I think our second visit was even more uneventful than the first and yet we had already seen heard felt something was there. I might also add that the first night we went in the owner met us, let us in and after a couple minutes walked back over to the door to leave. Since the stairway is right there where the door is we thanked him and as I raised my foot for the first step I heard a radio upstairs.
Well maybe we hadn’t noticed it but by the third step up we all looked at each other at the realization that the radio was being turned up. By the time we reached the top of the steps we all knew that the radio had been turned to as loud as it would go. We turned off the radio and acted as though this type thing happens all the time. LoL
By the time we arrived for our third visit we had moved equipment around and found what seemed to work best. Even the brand of tapes we used made a difference. Encouraged by our visit and a few EVP we decided that maybe we could just research to answer some of our own questions.
What exactly does earth bound me an? Can they leave the house? Why is it that a ghost doesn’t know they have died? How can they see the sun rise and set some many times and not know that they would have died without food and water within a month or so. I am sure we all have or start out with similar questions. Even after reading many books some questions are still not answered.
As many of you know when Tony and Debra lived in this house Tony received many physical attacks. On the sightings show they brought in Peter James who also talked of being burned. On the sighting show they talked of fires that had started in this house and a rose that had the outside of each peddle burned like they had been burned and then assembled. Why is it that these two were singled out?
